One of the great things about owning a Russian motorbike
is modifying it to suit your needs. We have tried to group the vast
range of additional equipment in to two rough categories. This page
shows some of our options that enhance the performance and reliability
of these popular bikes. The other page which we have called general
upgrades deals with the parts which improve the appearance and practicality
of the motorcycle. To be honest some times it's not that easy to decide
which page to put certain parts on so please take the time to have a
good look round the site. |

K & N High Flow Filter. Genuine K&N high flow
air filter to fit standard Ural 750cc filter box. This filter is a direct
replacement for the original filter fitted by Ural. It fits in the flat
box with either top air intake up to 2007 or bottom air intake from 2007.
It will not fit the round box seen on the 650cc Ural and some early Wolf
models. This K&N replaces either the original paper or blue mesh air
filter. The filter comes oiled and ready to fit. These filters are legendary
amongst car tuners for their high flow and excellent engine protection
in the most extreme environments. They can be washed, oiled and reused
for up to one million miles, so you will only need one. Because these
filters flow more air we supply them with two main jets for Keihin carburetors. Price per filter with jets £40.00 Price per filter with jets and K&N oil spray for servicing £50.00 |

Ram Air Filter and Jet kit. These
can only be fitted to Ural 750cc bikes using standard Keihin carburetors.
Filters come pre-sprayed and with the correct jets ready to fit straight
on. Gives a noticeable improvement in the mid range power and allows
the removal of the hard to fit and troublesome air box to carb pipes.
We have been testing these in all weather conditions and they work well.

Breather Filter. The engine breather
tends to make the original air filter wet in the winter when doing lots
of short journeys. Many people disconnect the engine breather from the
air filter box on Urals and then block the hole in the air filter box.
This leaves the problem of what to do with the engine breather pipe.
It can just be run down to breath on to the ground. A much better solution
is to fit this small filter. These are also a great idea if you are
planning to fit K&N or Ram Air filters to the carbs. Price £14.00 each |

Ural Ignition Rotor. This is a one
piece rotor to replace the original and fragile two piece rotor fitted
by Ural as standard on certain bikes. The ignition system this rotor
fits can be easily recognised. If you have a aluminium casing mounted
outside the front of the engine with a red LED light that flashes in
time with the engine OR if you take the front ignition cover off the
engine and see an aluminium casing with a red LED light that flashes
you have one of the two ignition types that this rotor will fit. It
will not fit any other Ural ignition system. The original two part rotor
fitted by the factory has a nasty habit of coming apart allowing the
ignition timing to wonder. This causes severe back firing, over heating
and unreliable starting. Our one part rotor is a direct replacement
and will cure this problem forever. |

Ural Sports Silencers. European made
chrome sports silencers for Ural 750 Dalesman only (these do not fit
the 650).Traditional looks and sound for your Ural. Supplied with mounting
brackets and jets for Keihin carburettors. Not BS stamped, but not that
loud. Fitting these together with either or K&N or Ram air filters
kits will give a slight improvement in power delivery across the entire
rev range without compromising the reliability. |

Equal Distance Brake Lever. All Urals built before
2008 have a lever fitted to the rear brake mechanism that has unequal
lengths between the holes. With the old lever you can either have large
pedal movement or (if you turn it round) large pedal pressure to operate
the rear brake. This lever has equally spaced holes so the pedal travel
and pressure are improved. Price £10.00 each |

Improved Headlight reflector for Ural, Dnepr.
The standard Ural headlight is really designed for the continent. It
dips to the right and is turned in the headlight shell to comply with
UK law. This is legal and OK for general use. However some people prefer
a much better light beam pattern. We have tried several different makes
and patterns from about £25 to nearly £100. Surprisingly
this one offers the best beam pattern we have found and it is not the
most expensive. Good penetrating long range high beam with a wide bright
dip beam. Supplied complete with halogen main/dip and sidelight. Price per unit £40.00 |

Extra Deep Sump. The extra deep sump
is not standard on European models. If you ride in hot conditions this
will really help. Cast aluminium with cooling fins, holds approximately
0.75 litres more oil than the standard aluminium deep sump fitted to
European models from the mid 1980's onward. Complete kit includes extra
deep sump, magnetic sump plug, gasket and stainless steel bolts. Price per kit £100.00 Magnetic plug on it's own to fit sump, gearbox or final drive. Price each £7.00 |

Alloy Barrel for 650 Ural. This conversion
will fit Ural 650cc bikes known as Cossack M63, M66, M67, Neval Soviet
and Soviet Knight. It uses high quality piston, and rings to raise the
compression ratio slightly. These alloy barrels allow the engine to
cool more efficiently. They are supplied with all gaskets and special
studding to fit your engine. Please note these are not honed, gaped

European Rings. European made high
quality piston rings for older Ural engines. These fit all Urals from
1968 to 1997. The oil ring is made in three parts and will stop oil
consumption in most cases with out increasing the wear on the barrel.

Taper Roller Steering Bearings. Fit all Urals, very
good modification and still one of our best selling products, improves
the steering considerably. You can usually reuse your original top and
bottom dust caps if you are careful, but we also supply a kit which includes

Twin Leading Shoe Kit. Early Urals had single leading
front brake plates, this easy to fit kit upgrades them to twin leading
shoe, comes complete with our heavy duty cable. Much improved braking. Price £120.00. Also we can supply just our heavy duty cable (often copied, never bettered) for Price £25.00 |

Ignition Booster for Points. If
you have points the reason they need adjusting and resetting so often
is because they are carrying lots of current which causes them to burn
and erode the electrodes. This clever box takes the load off the points
so they are only carrying milliamps. You will get better starting, cleaner
fuel burning and you will not have to set your points again for thousands
of miles. The unit even has a red light on it so setting the points is
very very quick. Very simple to fit and comes with full instructions.
Even works on 6 volt as well as 12 volt, but it must be negative earth
and have a battery. £35.00 |

F2 Produced Carb Mounts For alternative Carburetors.
We have had these mounts made to our design and they work well. They even
have take off spigots so you can use a proper vacuum gauge and fit a small
bore balance pipe permanently. The mounts are not handed Left or Right.
M8 x 1.25 pitch stud spacing adjustable from 52mm to 60mm measured at
