Anybody who uses a solo motorbike for lugging touring

luggage capacity. With a pillion on board too the room is reduced even
further, and is so often accompanied with the need to carry more stuff.

Single Wheel Trailers. Brilliant design that leans with your bike. All steel construction made to a proven design. Single wheel , or mono wheel trailers can not weave. They will always faithfully follow your bike, matching your chosen lean angle. They will never try to take control. Aerodynamic shape cuts through the air. You will hardly notice it's fitted. Please note we have redesigned the swivel as the original was not very good.

Will it fit your bike ? Each trailer comes with a towing hitch which is designed to fit twin shock frames. The front mount goes to the shock absorber top mount and then an adjustable hanger needs to fit to a strong frame point near the back of the seat. This hanger may fit straight on your bike with no alterations or you may need to make a longer/shorter one simply by taking a piece of 6 mm steel the correct length and drilling a hole in each end. |

| All the trailers we sell have been tested to much higher speeds. Trailers must display full lighting at the rear, i.e. indicators, brake and marker lights. Loading a trailer affects how stable it is. Always load heavy items near the bottom over the wheels and try to get the hitch weight between 15 kg and 20 kg. Basically, there needs to be more weight at the front than at the back.Try to load the heaviest items directly over the axle .Adding weight to any motorcycle either in panniers or in a trailer will increase the stopping distance, so allow extra room when braking. | ||

Trailer Law and Safety for Motorcycles with a Sidecar. The maximum permitted width of 100cm does NOT apply. The maximum weight of 150 KG does NOT apply. A braked trailer must not exceed two thirds of the unledan weight of the towing vehicle. An unbraked trailer must not exceed one half of the unledan weight of the towing vehicle. The maximum speed permitted whilst towing is 60 mph. Learner riders CAN NOT tow a trailer in the UK. A full motorcycle licence is required to do so. The motorcycle and sidecar combination must be 125cc or above. |
