original paper front cover gasket to fit Ural 750 cc Tourist,

Knight, Redstar, Northstar, etc. The 750 has additional
cut outs for the locating dowels. If in doubt order the
750 gasket. All screw holes are in the same place for

GASKET
TIP |
Old Paper Gaskets. It
is very important to remove all traces of the old
gasket before fitting a new one. If some nasty sticky
gasket cement has been used try painting it with a
thick layer of paint stripper. This will soften most
types of instant gasket. Once the surfaces are clean,
inspect them carefully. If there are no obvious scores,
dents or deep damage you should fit the new gasket
with nothing more than a light grease on both sides.
Instant gasket is great stuff, but it is only needed
if the faces are damaged or very uneven.
